Artists Using Photography - William Klein

William Klein's Photograph, Gun 1, is a photograph that was edited to have a motion blur in the foreground, mainly on the gun within the frame. I believe that the motion blur enhances the imagery, creating a more dynamic pose as well as a better understanding of the physical motion the person in the photograph made while the picture was being taken. I'd say the photograph becomes a tool to the artist, as it is used as a way to make the art piece more photorealistic, while also being a creative tool for posing and action.
